A shocking CCTV footage reveals a woman in Uttar Pradesh trying to murder her aged mother-in-law by strangulating her with a dupatta and then trying to smash her head with a brick.

The video was shared on Facebook by social activist Kundan Srivastava and describes the perpetrator as Sangeeta Jain, a resident of Nehtaur, who tried to kill her mother-in-law Rajrani Jain.Sangeeta, says Srivastava, has been married seven years but is going through divorce proceedings with her husband, Sandeep Jain.Srivastava say“She live in her husband’s house forcefully and she is taking advantage of his goodness.

She also started to beat me with bricks…I do not know why she does it.“A second video released on Facebook by Srivastava shows Sangeeta tring to electrocute Rajrani with a heating rod. A scuffle ensues between the two, followed by an argument, after which Rajranji is seen making a phonecall.
